In the past we have watched the fireworks show in Pekin. This year we decided to see what all the hype was about in Peoria. They kept advertising they had spent 50% more this year on the fireworks show to bring the total cost to $75,000. We loaded everyone in the van and headed downtown. Fortunately I was able to park in one of Caterpillar's parking lots where we were able to set chairs out as well as tailgate from the van.The entire show was set to music. It was a pretty good show. Most importantly the kids had a good time. Allison got a little scared from the loud noise so we just turned up the music to drown out the fireworks. It was a beautiful evening with low humidity which isn't normal for this time of year.
Looks like a lot of fun. Amanda your hair is long and curly. It looks so cute.
