Bows and gel are so much fun!!!!

Fixing Allison's hair is my new obsession! The hair bows, the hair gel, using my flat iron to curl it, the whole nine yards! It began a couple of weeks ago when I started looking at blogs on really cute girl hairstyles (who even knew there was such a thing!) I am not very creative but I am pretty good at repeating something others have done-especially when they show you how to do it step by step.

Since I am trying to grow Allison's bangs out I had been just clipping them to the side-pretty boring I think. I am really into pigtails and ponytails so that her hair will stay out of her face. "Messy buns" are my new favorite thing! Every morning now I try to come up with a new way to do the same old thing. Luckily Allie is very compliant and sits there for me while I dig out the gel, hairspray and barrettes.

The one thing no one told me was how difficult it is to get a nice straight part or get things relatively at the same level or spacing on both sides of the head. It is so hard when she is wiggly-plus the fact that I am still learning how to do this so it takes me awhile.
