For some crazy reason I took Jacob with me when I got my eye exam last week and it turns out to be a good thing I did. Today Jacob got his first pair of glasses. I am glad his prescription is only 1.5, otherwise I really would have felt bad. We had no idea he couldn't see well. I guess I should not be too surprised he needs glasses since I haven't seen the big E on the eye chart in over 20 years and Jared had LASIK last April.
Jacob is amazed at how sharp everything is. Jared was with him when they picked them up and said all the way home Jacob would look out the window with his glasses on then lift them up to see the difference. He says he will be even better at Guitar Hero now that he has glasses!
Now do you have two in glasses like me?? Isn't it a joy. I swear we are always making trips to the glasses store to get them either adjusted or have new screws put in. I'm just glad my oldest is more responsible than he was when he first got them.
