Tonight was Eric's very first band concert. Eric plays the trumpet. Like himself, most of the kids have only been playing their instruments since this September. Eric has been practicing really hard. The band played several songs: Rolling Along, Hot Cross Buns, Go Tell Aunt Rhodie, Lightly Row, Au Claire De La Lune, London Bridge, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Doodle All Day, A Tisket A Tasket and Jingle Bells. We are so proud of him. I hope this is just the first of many band concerts that we get to go to.
***I think first year band teachers are a special breed. I am so thankful that they do it! I am not sure I could.
