Not only was this Eric's first Boy Scout campout, it was also his first camping out alone (no parents or older brother)! He left with his troop on Friday evening and got back today around 11am. To say it was a success is an understatement!! When I picked him up he was ALL smiles! The campout was located about an hour away. The boys participated in a high ropes course and rode down a zip line! Since it is only March, the nights were very cold!!! Eric said he froze the most on Friday night and listening to the leaders and other scouts he was not alone. I think this is just the beginning of many fun and exciting memories for Eric! He was still talking all about it when he went to bed tonight!
