Jake's Castle

Every year in 6th grade Social Studies they do a chapter on Medieval Times. To make it more interesting, the teacher has the kids do a lot of hands on things. They create their own shields, make booklets and at the very end of the chapter they have a Medieval Dinner Feast at night that the parents can go to with their child. One of the coolest things the kids do is create castles to help learn the different part that make it up. Here is Jake and his castle. We think it looks GREAT!!!! So did the teacher because Jake got 100%! It sure was time consuming and a lot of hard work but Jake did great. I think his favorite part was using the spray paint. It was crazy this morning when all the 6th graders rode to school with their parents so their castles wouldn't get damaged on the bus!
