Well, I am not sure they are the perfect victims, but they sure did look good in all their victim make-up! This morning from 6:30 am - 10:30 am, Jacob and Eric helped in the Disaster Training Drill at the Peoria Airport. It is an event that only happens once every 3 years so it was a really neat thing that the were able to participate. The drill was a simulated plane crash with hurt passengers. The "victims" all had varying degrees of injuries from scraps to full on head wounds and bones sticking out. Quite impressive looking makeup and from a distance some of the wounds actually looked real! Jake and Eric were not severe and the were just taken on a bus with all the other Boy Scouts that were participating to a local hospital and then brought back to the airport. They didn't get off at the hospital it was mostly just for timing purposes. What a fun way to start off a Saturday. I was glad I got to observe the drill...neat seeing all the ambulances and fire trucks and their personel doing their thing!
