Spring Break

This year for Spring Break the kids and I headed over to my Mom's house. Jared had to stay home and work - no fun for him! Since Spring Break was late this year (it just ended today) it was warm enough that we were able to help my Mom with some things around her house. Outside the kids ( Jake & Eric) were able to use BIG tools that I probably would not have let them use but they did a great job with them so I guess I need to stop being so overprotective. They put down many bags of mulch, fixed part of a fence so the dog wouldn't escape, and cut down rose bushes. They actually had a great time helping. I wish they were as excited to help at home as they were at grandma's house! We were able to do fun things too besides just work. Allison drug poor Brewster (my Mom's dog) around by his leash all up and down the street and when she wasn't doing that she was giving him lots of love. Thanks for all the fun Mom!
