Today was the last day of cub scout camp for Jacob and Eric. The camp lasted 5 days and was held at the Pekin park. Everyday was filled with a multitude of activities. Jared was able to attend with them on Thursday. I know the boys enjoyed having him there and being able to show off what they could do. Both of the boys were able to sign off a lot of things in their books.
On the last day they had an egg dropping contest. Jared worked with the boys the night before preparing the packages the eggs would go in. The next day they had the ladder truck there from the fire department and dropped the eggs from that. Both Jacob and Eric's eggs survived the fall. I think both of the boys will miss summer camp........and so will mom!
Looks like they had fun. I just had our Day Camp today. It was only one day but it was a lot of fun. Can't wait till next year I can take Josh.
