We rented a place about an hour north of Amsterdam on the Ijsselmeer in Onderdijk near Medemblik. This place was very nice and had everything you needed. The landlady was super sweet and very helpful. It was right along the dike and looking out from the deck you could see the water and watch people kite surfing. We highly recommend this place!
Allison was in heaven because it had this bed that is apparently similar to how they were in the 1800's. It was a little compartment that opened up and the only thing in there was the bed. There was a small shelf with stuffed animals of snow white and the seven dwarfs! When she saw this she immediately claimed it as her bed.
